Today, in all the newspapers and on what I have expressed yesterday, the Rakyat are very annoyed and upset with the continuous politicking, party bickering and attack on both fronts, especially UMNO in Barisan Nasional and PKR in Pakatan Rakyat. No doubt sodomy and sexuality subjects are very exciting, politicians do not need to go overboard and jump in the bandwagon and start commenting on it. This is becoming very childish in the eyes of the Rakyat and very shameful to the whole world.
Here, I am not saying we should not be open and transparent in issues. But as politicians, we should look at the more important matters like fuel hike, food and commodity prices affecting the Rakyat. This is what we have elected the wakil rakyat and adun to do: To give priority to the needs of the Rakyat and to find ways to reduce the rising cost of living.
True politicians in BN and PR must forget their differences and start working together to ensure we ride through this crisis and survive it.
If Politicians don’t work together, I am certain the new 'People Power' Rakyat would use their vote in the next election to get rid of politician who does not do their very best to the very best of their ability.
Start serving now and be our Peoples' politicians who care, share and serve with a true heart.
